Supernatural Hippie

Hello People. I have now taken the plunge and registered a Domain Name. I am now officially “SUPERNATURAL HIPPIE” instead of “Supernatural Writing”.First time owning a Dot.Com. πŸ™‚

Have to say it was a very easy process! YAY! I was putting it off for a while in case the site went weird. But it is absolutely fine. No more pesky ads. πŸ™‚

Gothic and Sunshine

Supernatural Hippie I think suits my site better as I have such a love of music, travel, art and bohemian stuff. So I can write about the Gothic and the Moon but also throw in a bit of inspirational fun stuff and a bit of Sunshine! πŸ™‚

Super Awesome Hippy Book – FREE to read on the internet

On the subject of Hippies I have to share this AMAZING book I own. It’s called HIPPIES from A-Z by Skip Stone and is such an awesome little book. It is a rare find and is actually not on sale or in circulation anymore, unless you find it on eBay where I was able to track down a copy though it wasn’t cheap!

Hippies from A to Z

Hippies from A – Z by Skip Stone

But in the true spirit of Hippiedom, Skip Stone, the author has made it shareable on the internet. Isn’t that awesome? It’s FREE to the People. πŸ™‚

Hippie Havens

My FAVOURITE Chapter was “Hippie Havens” all about all the Hippiest places to visit on the planet. I have been to some of them. In fact I make travel plans based on this often.

    1. Thanks Renard. πŸ™‚ I was thinking about doing this for a while but was afraid that it might make the site go weird. But no probs. So happy to have a domain now and no more hideous adverts. YAY! πŸ™‚

  1. Congratulations on this new exciting endeavor. Love the name. Peace ✌🏻 love ❀️ happiness πŸ™‚ from a 60s hippie, tree hugger, 🌺 child hehee

  2. Congrats for your new and official blog! Thanks for the Hippie book recommendation and the free link (I will try to read some parts). Pitty that you are a CANCER, that means (from astrology view) that probably we wouldn’t be good friends and lovers πŸ˜‹, ’cause I’m a Sagittarius, and they say these two signs don’t go together well. Anyway, I still appreciate you and love you so much no matter what the zodiac says. And maybe our paths really collide, my spiritual and your hippie. Kisses πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ’—

    1. Thank-you πŸ™‚ You will love that book! Especially the chapter “Hippie Havens” talking about the Hippiest places to visit in the world. It is very interesting. Fascinating re the Star Signs. I’ve never delved into Astrology deeply but have touched upon the surface. Well I think we get on great as Bloggers. πŸ™‚ I am very close to Gemini actually. On the cusp. In some books I am Gemini and in some Cancer. I have some cancer traits such as sensitivity, emotional, loving water etc but don’t think I am domesticated or like the types of careers Cancerians are meant to like.

I have now been reading about people who are born on the Gemini-Cancer cusp cause that’s me! As for Sagittarius I have never really had a Sagittarius in my life as friends or otherwise. It’s a sign I know little about. I have met lots of Capricorns, Scorpios and Virgos though. It’s a whole world of it’s own Astrology. It goes a lot deeper than people think.

Someone recommended an utterly fantastic book on Astrology to me recently and I am going to get it. It’s called “Sun Sign Moon Sign” and it looked like an AMAZING book as my friend showed me some of the pages. It goes beyond the 12 Sun Signs and also looks at the 12 Moon Signs. Very intriguing.

      1. I see you really like to read a lot of different subject areas, and because of that I love you even more. Anyway, if you didn’t met any Sagittarius till now, then you have to meet me for sure, I will make your world go upside down. And did you know that there are really 13 zodiac signs, the last one is (and that is my real sign) Ophiuchus (November 29 – December 18). That is by the older moon zodiac calender (formed from approx 13 28-day months, the women months). And that is the sign of the serpent, ie snake (probably that is why I chosen chemistry as my profession; chemistry=pharmacy=snake sign).
More on this sign on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiuchus_(astrology)

I send you lot of sweet kisses to Irish girl πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

  3. I just read the book you recommended. It was very interesting. The chapter I liked the most is about young hippies and the thing that was said how we have to make a revolution in education. As far as for Hippie Havens, I asume you will first visit this few european places, before going outside the continent (as I saw, most hippie places are in US, which is understandable)… 😘 from your soulmate

    1. Oh Cool. It’s an interesting book. RE: Hippie Havens I have been to some of these places in both Europe and America. So far I have only travelled in Europe and America and I want to do more. I love USA Road Trips! I also want to visit Canada and would love to visit India and also places like Easter Island, Machu Picchu and Mount Shasta and South America and Mexico. I woul love to go to Hawaii. That would be bliss. I loved America and found it more hippyish than Europe. I have visited Sedona which is one of the biggest Vortexes in the world and a spiritual hub of energy. I’d just like to go travelling by land and sea and not stop until I’ve seen everything I want to see. So where are you headed next… Hope it’s somewhere you like. πŸ™‚

      1. As I said, I will try this route: Sweden-Denmark-North Germany-Holland-Belgium-France-Andora-Spain-Portugal. Maybe I will try to connect to the pilgrim road to Santiago de Compostela, then rest for a while on the Portugese Atlantic Coast. Anyway, if you will go outside the Europe, it means we will not see each other along our paths, at least not in the next few years. I will try to avoid big cities, especially because it’s easier to walk barefooted outside the cities…

        1. Your route sounds great. I was in the Pyrenees in December. Beautiful. I think I am going on holiday to USA this summer but I’m always visiting Europe. Where I really want to go is Transylvania on Halloween Night, October to Dracula’s Castle to the Masked Ball. πŸ™‚ There is also a famous forest near there I want to visit. Keep posting about your travels so we can see where you go!!! I hope you have fun! πŸ™‚

        2. Thank you, I hope I will. You take care also, and explore this world of mysteries. You know how much fun we would have if we could travel together. I have a strong feeling that you are my soulmate… 😘

    2. By the way your post about the 13 Astrological Signs is absolutely fascinating. I am going to read into that. When I clicked on that I also read in some cases there is a 14th sign Cetus. Which is the Sea Monster in the Greek Legend of Perseus and Andromeda. I recently wrote a poem based loosely on this as I love Greek Mythology.

      https://supernaturalhippie.com/2019/06/20/the-captain-of-her-heart-horror-sea-poetry/

I lived 2 summers on the Greek Islands. And have visited several times. I love the idea of The MOON Zodiac too. Very interesting stuff that you know. Enlightening.
