The biggest cause of animal cruelty and slaughter on the planet is the meat industry. In turn this destroys the environment and also kills wildlife, as well as creating ill health.
The Blood of innocent animals literally fuels the wheels of industry. Animals are living sentient beings with a life span of their own. They are not a commodity.
Just because something is legal it doesn’t make it ethical. The Meat Industry is all about Profit. There is an alternative to the current violent based food industry which is sadistic to animals. Food can be grown rather than slaughtered.

it is a great book. I actually invited Will to be a guest speaker in my class a few years ago, and he was kind enough to say yes. So we got to spend a good deal of time with him for a couple of days!

That’s amazing. I first heard about him when a lady I used to work with many years ago visited a friend in California for a few weeks who must have vaguely known him and she brought me back a CD of his. I listened to it. Then I bought the book, The World Peace Diet. Then went to a talk he did in Dublin a couple of years later.
