That was “Dumb and Dumber” as a Thriller! Aaaargh! Dumb and Dumber is such a funny movie and one of my favourite comedies.

Dumb and Dumber – a Comedy from 1994

Dumb and Dumber was a 1994 comedy starring Jim Carrey as Lloyd Christmas and Jeff Daniels as Harry Dunne. Two friends from Providence, Rhode Island who set out on a Road Trip to Aspen Colorado with a suitcase of money. It was written by Peter Farelly and directed by The Farelly Brothers.

Commercial Success and Cult Classic

The film was a commercial success and well received by critics and Jim Carrey won Best comic Performance for his role in the 1995 MTV Movie Awards. It was voted the 5th greatest comedy film of all time in the year 2000 by Total Film magazine and it’s number 445 on Empire Magazine’s 500 greatest movies of all time.

Mary Moon – She’s a Vegetarian

The soundtrack featured the single “New Age Girl” by Dead eye Dick and helped them achieve their only Top 40 hit. The band are now known as One Hit wonders and Dumb and Dumber has achieved Cult status.
