Iggy Pop featuring Emily the Strange – The Passenger

Just for Fun

Just stumbled upon a really good video of Emily the Strange with Iggy Pop’s, The Passenger.

I think it’s a fan made video using footage from the animation for Dark Times, an Emily the Strange Novel from 2011, where she goes on a Time Travel Journey to try and stop the death of one of her great Aunts.

Emily the Strange is a globally recognised comic book character, featured in comics, graphic novels, merchandise, clothing, music and animations.

She was created by Rob Reger for his company Cosmic Debris located in San Francisco, California.

In 2005, the first two issues of the comic book series were released by Dark Horse Comics.

The Passenger is a song written by Iggy Pop and Ricky Gardiner, recorded and released by Iggy Pop on the Lust for Life album in 1977.

It was also released as the B-side of the album’s only single, “Success”. It was released as a single in its own right in March 1998, reaching number 22 in the UK charts.
