The Full Pink Moon

The Full Pink Moon is upon is and will be full this Thursday 6th April 2023. I noticed it in the sky last night and took some photos in the forest. It already looks full.

It even looks pink. You can see a pink glow around it.

The Full Pink Moon is thought to be the first full moon of Spring. It is also known as The Paschal Moon, The Sprouting Grass Moon, The Egg Moon and The Fish Moon.

The Worm Moon was thought to be the last full moon of winter. The Pink Moon is thought to be the first Full Moon of Spring due to the first flowers of Spring emerging around this time.

The Pink Moon is the Full Moon that falls before Easter which is this weekend. Maybe you will get to see it where you are.
